iPhone
The iPhone app is in beta.
It runs through TestFlight, Apple’s app for trying apps before they reach the App Store. That part is free, and so is Apex Dad.
You don’t need an invitation and there’s nobody to ask. The invite below is a public link, open to anyone who has it, which now includes you. Two steps and it’s on your phone.
Install TestFlight
It’s a free app made by Apple, and it’s how every iPhone app gets tested before it reaches the App Store. You only do this once. If TestFlight is already on your phone, go straight to step two.Get TestFlight from the App Store →
Open the invite
The link below opens TestFlight on the Apex Dad invite. Tap Accept, then Install. The app lands on your home screen like any other, and you sign in with Apple, Google, or your email and a password. If you’ve only ever used the emailed link here, set a password in Settings first and the phone will take it.Open the TestFlight invite →
Not holding an iPhone?
The beta is iPhone only for now, but you don’t need a phone to start. The seven reps, the journal, the letters to your kids and the coach all run right here in your browser, on whatever you’re reading this on, under the same account.
When you do want it on the phone, open apexdad.app/iphone on the iPhone itself and step one is right there.
If the invite won’t open
Beta builds expire ninety days after they’re published, and a new one replaces them. TestFlight tells you when that happens and updating is one tap, so this is worth knowing about rather than worrying about.
If the link ever tells you the beta is full or closed, that’s the one case where writing to me helps. Email asa@apexdad.app and I’ll get you in.
